Camp Widow 2011 Registration Form

 

Camp Widow is a weekend long gathering of widows from across the country, and around the world. We come together to create a community of people who understand the life altering experience of widowhood. Camp Widow provides practical tools, valuable resources, and peer-based encouragement for rebuilding your life in the aftermath of the death of a spouse.

Camp Widow 2011 will be held at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina in San Diego, California from August 12-14, 2011.

Here are a few words from one of the 2010 campers...

"What was so great – so much so that I can't adequately describe it – was not having to explain anything, or justify, or conceal, or apologize as I've had to do in my everyday life. No one expected to me to be anything or anywhere in my journey that I wasn't. I wish i could bottle that up – or better yet, bring those several hundred people with me everywhere I go like an army. All the times in regular life I've had to bite my tongue, face rejection and apologize for my feelings have left me jaded and weary, but I didn't in those few days. Sweet relief.   Sarah~ Camper from Minnesota

Camp Widow welcomes anyone who has lost a life partner to participate in this program. We are an inclusive, non-denominational organization focused on hope and healing through the grieving process. Camp Widow is a program of the Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation. We welcome your questions; please don't hesitate to contact us.

Camp Widow LayAway Program: $325 effective 8/17/10-3/17/2011

Regular Registration: $375 effective 1/2/2011-8/1/2011
Late Registration: Availablity TBD
Group Rate: $325 on-going for groups of four or more
One Day Event: Workshops Only $150 (No social events included)

Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation Cancellation Policy

All requests for refunds must be in writing and include reason for cancellation. All cancellation requests are subject to the following administrative fees:

August 17, 2010-February 28, 2011=$25

March 1, 2011-July 15, 2011=$50

July 16, 2011-August 1, 2011=$100

No Refunds after August 1, 2011

Refunds will be issued within 30 days of request.

SSLF is not responsible for acts of God or nature, public unrest, war, union or labor disputes or other events out of our control.
